With the high-speed rail network (TGV), Toulon is 4 hours 20 minutes from Paris. The Var has 3 TGV rail stations: Toulon, Les Arcs-sur-Argens and Saint-Raphaël.

Getting here by car .

The A8 runs through the region from East to West, along the Marseille/Nice axis.

The A50 from Marseille (or Lyon) runs along the west coast of the Var until Toulon. The A57 links greater Toulon to the Centre Var and provides a 60 minute connection between Toulon and the Portes du Verdon.

The A570 connects Toulon and Hyères in under 30 minutes.

Don’t forget to carshare! Now at the click of your mouse, car sharing is a convenient and cheap way of getting around the Var.

Almost all ports offer boat trips or shuttle buses to the islands.
