‘Vignobles et Découvertes’ certification
A wine-cellar or an estate open to wine-tourism, accoommodation in the vineyards, a restaurant offering wine and food pairing or a menu favouring local produce… with the ‘Vignobles et Découvertes’ certification, you can prepare a getaway in the vineyards, with carefully-chosen services and facilities.
A complementary choice of outstanding heritage sites, activities and events are also suggested to try something new and discover a hidden gem or local knowledge.
In the Var, at least 3 destinations are certified, for your enjoyment: Provence Verte, Dracénie, and the Bandol area.
Festivals and events
Introduced in Provence 2600 years ago, and produced with passion ever since, vineyards and wine hold an important place in the culture and tradition of the region. Several events are organised throughout the year that are themed around wine and wine production: traditional fêtes, trade fairs and festivals.
In addition, numerous events are organised by the wine estates themselves: themed wine and food pairing events, pop-up bars in the vineyards, jazz concerts, operas and many more

Wine estates: guest rooms and wine tours
Some of the estates offer on-site accommodation, where you can spend the night in a real farm, amongst the vineyards, in a large farmhouse or a more humble gîte. Enjoy the peerless charm of staying a few nights in a vineyard, weaving relationships with the wine-growers, who will happily share their passion for their work with you.
The guided tours and tasting workshops are the best way to truly discover wine and wine production. Certain oenological specialists offer amazing wine tours, days of discovery with a specialist wine and estates guide, and have a great, relaxed time together.
A day where you are taken care of from start to finish, so you don’t have to worry about a thing.
