Overlooking the bay, Cap Camarat and its lighthouse watch over the mythical and magnificent Pamplonne beach. From the lighthouse, you can see an outstanding panorama, with impressive countryside and brilliant colours.
This site’s beauty is largely due to its bright colours: the deep blues of the sea, the ochre and bright white tones of the granite rocks, the green of the vegetation.
The forest of cork oak trees and bushes in the undergrowth make it a wild landscape.
Up above the Cap, the Camarat lighthouse rises up at 180m tall. It is the second-tallest lighthouse in France. From there, you can enjoy splendid views over almost the entire coastline, including the bay of Pampelonne and its superb beach.
Legendary and magnificent, this sandy beach extends for over 5km and offers, above all, a remarkable natural space with turquoise water and fine sand. The vineyards, the wooded hills covered in pine and oak trees create an enormous green backdrop.
It is at the origin of a St Tropez legend………a famous restaurant.
Pampelonne is open to all, thanks to its wide range of establishments and large ‘public’ spaces, where you can simply spread out your towel to enjoy a dip in the sea and sunbathing whilst admiring the surroundings.
