Saint-Bernard park
Sustainable tourism
During the Roaring Twenties, the Vicomte de Noailles had his villa built by the architect Mallet-Stevens. At the same time, this botanical enthusiast laid out a garden of Mediterranean species below. Now owned by the town of Hyères, it is open to the public. It's a pleasure to stroll between the various narrow terraces where pittosporums, rosemary, acacias and lavender grow, as well as remarkable trees including a 300-year-old almond tree and a 200-year-old jujube tree. In addition to its botanical riches, this park offers an exceptional view of the islands of the Parc National de Port-Cros.
