The Organic Village! Situated in the heart of the Provence Verte area, Correns is characterized by an abundant water supply brought to the village's 16 fountains by the river Argens. In the Middle Ages, monks turned this site into a reputed wine-growing region, particularly famed for its white wines. Correns continues to produce excellent wines, and has now become France's first Organic Village.
Gibron Fort stands overlooking the village and is the venue for the "Joutes Musicales" traditional music festival held every May, attracting artists from the four corners of the world.
Vallon Sourn, situated at the village exit, is one of Europe's most reputed rock-climbing and canoeing sites, boasting an exceptional and protected environment.
