Château Le Bastidon
Today, Alain and Thomas Rose, father and son, take great care of this estate steeped in history.
With the birth in the 12th century of large monasteries in the vicinity of La Londe (Chartreuses de La Verne and Montrieux), most of the commune was under the control of monks until the 18th century, who developed agriculture. The monks of La Verne established themselves, built the Château du Bastidon and developed agriculture between the 17th and 18th centuries.
The estate, known until then as a place of meditation, became renowned for its products from the land, its vineyard, its mulberry trees for the cultivation of silk and above all its olive grove, considered by certain administrators in the 18th century as "one of the most beautiful olive groves in the universe". Today, Alain and Thomas Rose, father and son, take great care of this estate steeped in history. With their team, brimming with passion, they go forward every day to sublimate this heritage and wish, through their products, to give their customers all the satisfaction and happiness of tasting the simple pleasures of life.
Today, the vineyard and the olive grove reward us for our efforts, since the estate has just been awarded Gold in numerous national and international competitions.
