Bagaud in port Cros diving site
The site is North-east of Bagaud island. There’s a buoy for diving clubs. The boat has to dock here. There is no current because the site is sheltered from the Mistral.
The ideal spot for initiation and open water divers. The site reveal a cute submarine architecture made of big flat stones. It’s named also the “Dalles of Bagaud”. Even at 5 meters deep you can easily watch families of grouper hiding under those famous natural stoneware.
The stones are surrounded by Mediterranean tape-weed. A real eye-catcher. You can find also some red soft coral et rare noble pen shell (protected species). Besides the young groupers, we find the small Mediterranean fauna : ornate and rainbow wrasses, sea bream, painted comber, diplodus in school. Some corbs are back also, due to their registration as protected species.
All year round.
